Add hotels and dated room rates

Hotel prices change with the season, so each hotel has rates for date ranges. The package builder only uses a hotel when it has a rate for the customer's dates.

   Add the hotel

   Open Inventory Setup, stay on the Hotels tab and press + Add Hotel. Add the name, destination, city and stars. The usual price here is only a guide; quotes use the dated rates from the next step.

   Add rates for dates

   Open Hotel Rates (the Manage view), open the hotel and press + Add dates. Enter the From date, the To date and your room prices for Double (required), Triple and Quad.

   See what the customer pays

   Each date range shows Your price and Customer pays, which is your price plus your hotel profit % from Settings.

   Track supplier costs (optional, Pro and Business)

   Press + Supplier cost on a date range and choose the supplier to record what they charge you. Only people with the Costs & profit access see it.

   Check what needs attention

   Use the filters at the top: Expiring soon, Expired and Needs rates show which hotels won't be quoted for upcoming dates.

   Check any dates

   Press Check dates to see which hotels have rates for a customer's travel dates before you quote.
